New York, January 17, 2012— Videology—an online video advertising platform and solutions provider—today announced the appointment of Dylan Parks to the New York-based position of Vice President of Sales, reporting to Brian Danzis, Senior Vice President, North American Sales.

In this newly created position, Parks will lead Videology’s national sales efforts across all U.S. media agencies, and will spearhead the company’s efforts to increase its share of video advertising budgets.  He will also oversee and implement Videology’s efforts to better inform and educate the digital planning and buying community across all levels of the agency on the tools, analytics and expanding capabilities of digital video.

“Dylan’s extensive relationships at both the agency and client level will serve us well in our ongoing efforts to demonstrate video’s unique contribution to the media mix, as well as our own capabilities as a company,” Danzis said.  “We’re thrilled to welcome him to our team.”

Prior to joining Videology, Parks was the Eastern Region Vice President of Sales for Brand.net, responsible for monetizing the company’s digital advertising network and media futures platform from 2009 through 2011.  Prior to joining Brand.net,  he spent 7 years with Yahoo! In this role, he
managed sales teams for the consumer packaged goods and quick serve restaurant categories, and oversaw key corporate advertising partnerships, including breakthrough video programming for PepsiCo brands and P&G’s first video upfront.  Parks began his career in digital advertising in 1998 with Launch Media, where he was responsible for video ad sales for the company’s subscription-based DVD product and on Launch.com, one of the industry’s first Internet destinations for video music content.

Parks graduated from Lake Forest College with a B.A. in History.
