videology names leadership team for new australia office
Local experts to bring Videology’s market-leading digital advertising platform and service to Australian agencies and advertisers
Sydney, 05 March 2013 – Videology – a digital advertising platform and solutions provider - today announces details of the leadership team that will power its expansion into the Australian media market.
In January, the company opened its latest office in Sydney to ensure that Australian agencies and advertisers have access to the same market-leading targeting and ad-decisioning technology that Videology currently provides clients across the US, EMEA and the wider APAC region.
The Australian team will be lead by Commercial Director Sarah Hassanin, who has previously built highly successful sales operations for both The Video Network and nineMSN. Sarah is an acknowledged expert on the Australian video space and the national team she created at TVN was named Digital Services Company of the Year in 2011 by B&T.
Chris Mooney joins as Sales Director for Videology Australia. He previously worked at Tribal Fusion’s Sydney office where he lead the online ad network’s efforts in programmatic buying and helped develop its Australian product strategy. He has also worked for BBC Worldwide and Facebook in the UK.
Also currently based in Australia is Haskell Garon, Director of Product Development for Videology APAC, who is one of the company’s longest-serving employees. Haskell will play a vital role in ensuring Videology’s technology is best adapted to the needs of the Australian market, having previously worked on a number of the company’s other successful international launches, including the UK and France.
Videology is currently trialing its technology with a number of local agency partners. Initial focus is on its ability to target video advertising online, via mobile and on connected TVs, as well as delivering effective targeting across other digital display formats, including banners and rich media.
The company believes that a multi-multi-multi approach to addressable advertising is essential in 2013, covering multi-device - encompassing online, mobile and connected TVs and multi-format - encompassing video, display and rich media. All this has to be delivered in multiple markets, allowing global brands to extend their addressable media strategies seamlessly across countries and regions.
“Australia is a very important market and one where online video has fantastic potential to deliver for advertisers and agencies. In order to ensure that Videology provides Australian agencies and advertisers with the same market-leading service and products we’re known for across the globe, we’ve assembled a highly skilled and knowledgeable team in Sydney. Sarah, Chris and Haskell have the track record to ensure that our rollout is as successful in Australia as it has been in Vietnam, Singapore and Japan,” said Ken Pao, Managing Director for Videology APAC.
